When I was a child everyone called me Dee Dee. I didn’t even know my name was Diana until I started school and my mom filled out my name on the forms. She had to explain to me that my “real” name was Diana. By 3rd grade, I’d shed Dee Dee and have been Diana ever since (some close family call me Dee Dee and I’m fine with it, it makes me feel special)

Few family members have called me “Ana Banana” or “Diana Banana” “iana” as well of course “Lady Di” I’m still fine with others calling me by my nick name. But recently I been loving my name Diana no nickname at all but if they do I usually just shrug it off.

My favourite nick name is Lady Di, after princess Diana. Other nicknames I’ve had are Dee and DeeDee- which I dislike. As a kid people used to call me Diane and I didn’t mind, but now as an adult, it bothers me bcz that’s not my name!
