In reply to BARBARA. And maybe she named her Chelsea because you referred to her as your "so called" daughter in-law. So I kinda get the sense that your not so fond of your DIL. Chelsea is more feminine has a long history isn't over used. It's a beautiful name. Happy to hear ppl are still naming their kids Chelsea.

In reply to BARBARA. I'm 34 and my name is Chelsea. And I've lived 34 years and most sources I've ever searched the meaning of the name Chelsea is "seaport" Or other wording synonymous to seaport. Also It's an Anglo-Saxon name.
